Drupal
Out of the box Drupal provides a rich toolset to manage the content and behaviour of your website, and is used by organisations such as Amnesty International, Comic Relief, Greenpeace, and Oxfam to quickly create sophisticated and scalable websites.
Drupal is also framework for rapid development, so new features can be quickly added by installing a plug in from a library of existing modules, and there is an wide range of features available.
Drupal For NGOs
Drupal For NGOs is a bi-monthly series of events aimed at empowering NGOs to implement and manage their websites by knowing which modules to use and how to configure them. Each month will cover a topic in detail, showcase recent projects, and feature a Drupal question and answer session.
Which topic is covered each month will be decided by a poll, so if there's something you'd like to know more about please cast your vote or make a suggestion.
This time we'll be talking about Intranets.
The event will begin with a 20 minute Introduction To Drupal presentation, if you're already a Drupal user you're welcome to carry on socialising while this is on.
That will be followed by a quick revisit of the last topic we covered, Sub Sites (Organic Groups), so if you've tried OG this is your chance to share your experience.
We will also be giving away two copies of a Drupal book that Packt Publishing have generously contributed:
